AI & Automation Disclosure

Effective Date: June 2026 · Entity: ClaimEase, Inc.

1. Overview

ClaimEase uses artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), and optical character recognition (OCR) to help users organize documents, extract key policy details, and generate insights and summaries. These tools are designed to assist — not replace — your personal judgment or professional advice.

2. Sources and Providers

We may use reputable third-party AI and automation technologies (for example, Anthropic APIs, OCR libraries, and document-processing models) along with infrastructure providers for hosting and vector search (such as Supabase or Vercel). Each provider is contractually required to handle data securely and in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

3. Limitations and Accuracy

AI-generated outputs may contain errors, incomplete information, or hallucinations. Summaries and recommendations should be viewed as general guidance and not definitive legal or insurance interpretations. You are responsible for reviewing outputs before relying on them for claim submissions, financial decisions, or communications with insurers.

4. Human-in-the-Loop Review

To improve quality and ensure reliability, limited human review may occur (for example, correcting extraction errors or investigating processing issues). Reviewers are trained under confidentiality obligations. You may request to opt out by contacting support@claimease.io. Opting out may reduce accuracy or available support.

5. Model Training and Data Use

Unless you explicitly opt in, ClaimEase does not allow third-party AI providers to train foundation models on your identifiable content. We may use de-identified and aggregated data to improve feature performance, accuracy, and reliability across the platform. All data processing is performed under strict security standards and never shared for unrelated commercial purposes.

6. Sensitive Information and PHI

ClaimEase is not a HIPAA-covered entity and does not provide HIPAA-compliant services unless explicitly covered by a signed Business Associate Agreement (BAA). You should not upload protected health information (PHI) or other sensitive personal data without a valid agreement in place. If you believe PHI was uploaded inadvertently, notify us immediately at support@claimease.io.

7. User Responsibility

8. Continuous Improvement

We continuously test, monitor, and improve our AI systems to enhance performance and fairness. Improvements may include better model selection, updated prompts, or new safeguards to reduce bias and error rates. We may modify or replace AI features at any time without prior notice as part of product evolution.

9. Changes to This Disclosure

We may update this AI Disclosure Statement periodically to reflect new technologies or compliance requirements. Material updates will be communicated via email or in-app notice. The effective date above will indicate the latest revision.
